Admission Statement
Kyoto International School exists primarily to serve the needs
of international families who reside in the Kansai area and
have a clear need for an English based education. Kyoto International
School does not have the resources to serve the child with
learning disabilities. Admissions and class placement will
be decided by principals based on space available, primarily
by age, and also of language balance of the grade level in
question, past student achievement and motivation, language
support at home and prospects of learning successfully in
the school. Kyoto International School seeks motivated students
who will be able to succeed in a challenging and well-rounded
program.
Applications for admissions are accepted at any time.
